Four young heroin addicts scour the streets of Melbourne in search of some good-quality narcotics – or as they call it, ’pure shit’. In the space of 48 hours, a friend dies of an overdose, they are ripped off by criminals and arrested and assaulted by police. They bungle a break-in, get chased by hooligans and one is sent to a methadone clinic. The search for drugs veers between farce and tragedy, but it never stops.

This is a riot from start to finish and shouldn't be missed. Yes it is low budget and it is obvious that the ambition of the film makers is sometimes sacrificed, but if you take this into account then you can really appreciate the qualities this feature has to offer. It is hilarious with some good performances, particularly from the leads. There is a proud history of off kilter horror gems from the land down under and IKHMRYSLS continues this trend and deserves to be considered in the same league as Bad Taste or Black Sheep. The film makers, Doug Turner and Stacy Edmonds show real promise in their debut and I hope they make another film soon.

Quite sick and twisted, certainly not for children. Some of the animated shorts featured on this VHS tape are messed up and sick. Some of these require a strong stomach, but certainly it is a great tape for those of you who like some sick and twisted humor in your cartoons.

The local inhabitants won't really help him, but he is joined by a hunter and a female farmer to find the beast. This LD is the original UNCUT Japanese release in VG condition.
