Live Greatest Hits is an album by The Gerogerigegege released on Juntaro’s own VIS A VIS AUDIO ARTS label in 1991. This album is a collection of three live performances from 1991, 1990, and 1987. The main audio in this albumconsists of a 51 year old exhibitionist moaning as he jacks off live in front of a crowd, with additional live audio and tweaking by Juntaro. One thing sets the Gerogerigegege apart from other bands/artists of the time was a somewhat regular masturbation theme. Either songs based on wanking, or as in this case, songs that are audio recordings of wanking. This is certainly a far more experimental approach than GG Allin’s masturbations sessions release. In this album Gero 30, who is performing here a composition by Juntaro, moans and masturbates through the entire album, sometimes screaming/shouting as well. Accompanying him is a drum machine and some other elctronic fuckery. This is certainlyan awesome album from this legendary experimental noise band. Like the rest of these ultra limited Japanoise releases, the prices are skyrocketing…..
