This was the first Lou Barlow related full-length release since the ‘Folk Implosion”s 1999 masterpiece “One Part Lullaby,” a length of time that was previously unheard of in the songwriter’s canon. This record fits in well with Lou’s other Sentridoh releases, and continues in the same vein as 1995’s “Winning Losers.” His songwriting style has continued to evolve, and is now more straightforward than ever, yet continues to captivate and connect with the listener in the way only Lou can.
