Ezra Cobb is devastated when his mother dies, and so digs up her corpse and installs it in his home. After a while, Ezra decides that his Ma could use some company, and starts committing gruesome murders. ...Deranged indeed

Witness, if you will, just a smattering of the horrors within:
A ten-year-old boy and his younger brother run away from home, find a remote farm several miles away and promptly blow the owner’s head off. They spend the rest of the summer frolicking at the ill-gotten farmhouse until the farmer’s brother comes for a visit. The boy is sentenced to life in jail. A funeral director is suspected of botching a burial. The woman’s body is exhumed and the woman is found to have been buried alive, her fingers bitten half off in madness after discovering her horrific fate. A sixty-year-old woman, afraid that the rash on her back would kill her, steps into her backyard, douses herself with gasoline and self-immolates. A young mother takes her three children out for a day at the beach, and then drowns them, one by one, while the others watch. A fifteen-year-old Polish girl burns down her employer’s barn—and his house—because she wanted some “excitement.” A young German man, having only moved to Black River Falls a month prior, attempts suicide by train, lying down on the tracks and refusing to move. He is finally removed by four men. He later vanishes. A teenage girl, jilted at the altar by her fiance, goes mad with grief, hanging herself in the local asylum. Meanwhile a young man, also recently jilted, shoots his ex-fiance and then himself. A recently divorced man shoots his ex-wife and her family dead in the crowded town square. An outbreak of diphtheria kills off a score of local children. The school is closed and the houses of the afflicted burned to the ground. A formerly world famous opera singer moves to town and within a month is reduced to eating chicken feed to survive. A farmer decapitates all of his chickens and burns down his farmhouse, convinced that the devil has taken over his farm. A drifter is taken in by a kindly family. He has dinner with them and as they sleep, he shoots them all and then himself.
And there’s more, so much more. Just endless misery death, murder, mutilation, arson, starvation, cruelty and unrelenting depression. And all in the space of just a few years

Grant Hart, Husker Du, Biography, Documentary, Music, Hardcore; DVD (2013)
Writing in City Pages, Reed Fischer said, "In spite of the myriad challenges of his personal and professional life -- the fire, the death of family members, his band's epic dissolution, drug addiction, and coming to terms with his sexual orientation -- Hart comes off as a wiser man for all of it. Hearing the way he describes his close emotional friendship with William S Burroughs is worth the price of admission on its own. Sure, there are numerous bits about Mr. Mould and Mr. Norton too, and they're mostly told with fondness for the fruit before it became poisoned. Hart's slow and deliberate retellings of his past convey an inner strength that hints at why Bechard wanted to spend so much time with him. Capping the tale with the beginnings of Hart's epic interpretation of John Milton's Paradise Lost, The Argument -- Chris Strouth has a lot more to say about the album here -- the story rests itself in the near-present at a high point in Hart's storied career. Not every stone was turned over in this tale, but they all at least got a firm jostling."

Have a front row seat at one of the greatest human achievements as you relive the events of July 1969. This 8mm film records the entire event from the astronauts (Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins) making their way to the launch-pad, blast off, journey to the Moon and the landing on the surface to the return to Earth and welcome from President Nixon. The box remains strong, intact and in excellent condition. There is slight surface wear and remnants of the original adhesive tape but this is hardly noticeable. The design of the landing module and two astronauts on the Moon surface still retains the original unfaded colouring. The film on a grey plastic reel appears to be in good condition. Please be aware we have been unable to view the film so do not know if it is colour or with sound. Documentary, Historic, Curiosity, Mondo; VHS Near MInt
You've never seen a video remotely like this one. It haunts you long after you've seen it. The result of an enormous amount of archival research and highly professional writing and editing, this video brings alive the history and culture of circus sideshow "freaks." Dwarfs, giants, pin-heads, Siamese twins, monkey women, dog-faced men, people without legs and/or arms and those with miniature "twins" protruding from various parts of the body. They are all here in a fast-paced, feature-length color film laced with humor, compassion, historical knowlege and provocative social commentary. The film includes interviews with some of the characters, including a bearded lady and the charismatic last surviving circus "half lady." While almost hypnotically entertaining, this is a serious work that will remain the definitive visual study for years to come. This film is about very special human beings, who lived before scientific "final solutions" were possible. Their life stories, the film's remarkable interviews and its engaging narrative, all challenge the accepted wisdom about deformed people, not only whether they have a right to live, but whether they can live happy lives. Most important, whether they have something invaluable to contribute to the human family. This film will draw you back time and time again and bend your mind every viewing.

People who do noise is a full-length documentary about Portland music makers.
What is "noise" and what is "music"? And where exactly do the two meet? Or should they? Are they completely different entities, to be appreciated on separate but equal terms? Such questions are apparently the basis of a riveting documentary (see it below) called People Who Do Noise, which focuses on artists working in the experimental music underground of Portland, Oregon. To aficionados of the noise genre, Portland is akin to Liverpool, England in the early '60s, or Seattle, Washington in the early '90s. Made on a shoestring budget of $10,000 back in 2008, People Who Do Noise goes up close and personal with the musicians of this scene, profiling them in candid interviews (they're an opinionated bunch!) and working on music they fully admit isn't for everyone. And that's precisely the point. Perhaps the sounds these performers create aren't your cup of tea, either. That's fine. But the documentary is well worth watching for the interviews. Taken together, they create a fascinating mosaic of a bold, uncompromising musical movement.
