Shot in super eight, this movie is amateur film-making at its most primitive that includes Gore, Claymotion, it works as a whole package for lovers of the genre. A must for sick and twisted cult fanatics who worship the Kuchars and Norbert Moutier. In other words, this movie is an explosion reel in its purest form, which when it comes to this genre means lots of crazy antics. A film with one thing in common: love for good old American exploitation movies. As expected of 70's B-movies, the acting is painfully bad, nevertheless, the main stars, have sick scenes, and Jeanin Lake shines among the whole cast. The story also defies categorization. It is anything but porn, per se, to anybody who takes a glimpse of the cover art but there are sequences of adventure and gore. The special effects are laughably amateurish but, it doesn't feel that way for the entire runtime. As I said the film is so wrong in so many ways not to mention utterly offensive by today's standards. I can't add much more to what's already been said about this exploitation gem. If you have a stomach for blood and guts, over-the-top antics you should see this movie.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth, followed by light, water, whales and a whole load of other shizz. Eventually, he created man in his own image. In time, man created Hollywood, and not long after that, the Italians created rip-offs. Adam and Eve Meet The Cannibals is the Italian answer to American 'loss of innocence' movies like The Blue Lagoon (1980) and Paradise (1982), the film following its photogenic titular couple (played by Mark Gregory of Bronx Warriors 1&2, and Andrea Goldman of nothing else) as they struggle to survive after being cast out of the Garden of Eden for sampling the forbidden fruit. The film is largely an excuse for directors Enzo Doria and Luigi Russo to show their stars in the buff; both Adam and Eve frolic buck naked, making this an equal opportunities exploitation flick—something for both men and women to enjoy. But being Italian rip-off movie-makers, they can't help but throw in lots of mind bogglingly daft nonsense, making their film an absolute hoot of biblical proportions. In addition to the copious nudity, viewers are also treated to a hilarious action scene inspired by Raiders of the Ark (a massive stop-motion boulder rolling after Adam and Eve in a display of pathetic special effects), a couple of dreadful animal attacks (a manky pterodactyl and a moth-eaten bear), a tribe of ape-men (and women), and, of course, the cannibals: a race of laughable pig-faced, ginger-haired creatures. For those who enjoy unadulterated trash, Adam and Eve Meet The Cannibals is a must-see.

An exceptional, entirely unique, wildly important, batshit insane, consistently entertaining trashvomit epic; in fact it's probably the quintessential entry in the canon. Diana presents a brutally straightforward and scathing critique of American culture and its obsession with guns and cars and babies and Jesus and Baby Jesus. Caring so much about all of that bullshit seems like such a waste of time when you have a pup as sweet as Daisy to lick Alpo out of roasted-carved-and-splattered plastic Baby Jesus's cunt. Yes, much of this is solely meant to shock the puritanical Republicans that had it out for Diana in the early 90s, but in doing so it reveals just how corrupt and absurd the are systems through which the powers-that-be operate. It’s all nicely summarized by what seems to be the inclusion of an encounter between Diana and a few yuppie wastes. He lets their ridiculousness speak for themselves, especially when one dude claims, as Diana pushes in closer and closer, that it is illegal to take his “picture” because he is a U.S. soldier and it goes against the regulations of “military intelligence.” Young Mike was definitely out there to push buttons, but more than anything he’s pushing back.
Totally transcendent viewing experience.

Anyone Googling "Video Mixtape" will be immediately exposed to links and references to the Retard-O-Tron mixtapes – possibly the most controversial and popular mixtapes around, already banned in the US, Canada and Ireland. Made in league with Robin Bougie’s excellent publication Cinema Sewer which scours the seedy underbelly of fringe cinema’s underbelly. Of course, porn aside, many of these mixtapes can hardly be considered legal. Who knows how many instances of copyright infringement there are in each one – dozens would seem conservative – but since the mixtape scene is still fairly focused and most of the source material so obscure, the creators seem to be largely left alone. Spewing forth a frothy overload of unbelievable, uncomfortable and at times totally embarrassing clips harvested from the deepest, dankest VHS dungeons and other unnameable appalling archives. Stitching together over an hour and a half of public access atrocities, loveably ludicrous fight scenes, gross-outs galore and some of the sleaziest, slimiest XXX insanity to ever penetrate your brain, editor Roelewapper often flips the clips, juxtaposing them against ironic, inappropriate and absolutely hilarious audio, sending the material into a completely backwards and bonkers context. All of this vile video vindication congealed with an impressive array of video editing skills makes this mix-tape most nauseating entertainment... but the real question is: can you stomach the avalanche of sordid perversion and perpetual uneasy feeling this collection presents? Just in case you didn’t get the message – the ROT mixtapes are NOT for kids or anyone easily offended. Absolutely, categorically NSFW – you have been warned.

What is "noise" and what is "music"? And where exactly do the two meet? Or should they? Are they completely different entities, to be appreciated on separate but equal terms? Such questions are apparently the basis of a riveting documentary (see it below) called People Who Do Noise, which focuses on artists working in the experimental music underground of Portland, Oregon. To aficionados of the noise genre, Portland is akin to Liverpool, England in the early '60s, or Seattle, Washington in the early '90s. Made on a shoestring budget of $10,000 back in 2008, People Who Do Noise goes up close and personal with the musicians of this scene, profiling them in candid interviews (they're an opinionated bunch!) and working on music they fully admit isn't for everyone. And that's precisely the point. Perhaps the sounds these performers create aren't your cup of tea, either. That's fine. But the documentary is well worth watching for the interviews. Taken together, they create a fascinating mosaic of a bold, uncompromising musical movement.

They bungle a break-in, get chased by hooligans and one is sent to a methadone clinic. The search for drugs veers between farce and tragedy, but it never stops.
