'You love Chinese food' was given a worldwide release through the Australian label 'Extreme' home to such artists as Muslimgauze, Merzbow, Paul Schütze and many more #4th World explorers. 'You love Chinese food' is full of ambient soundscapes. Casual rhythms leave huge holes which offer refuge to voices, violins, guitar mutations blended with space dub and fractured trip beats as well as spoken-word stories. A masterly example of compositon which is linear, evocative and moving in every sense. With this album Pablo's Eye had set their own standard.

Domino Records released this comprehensive retrospective of legendary New Yorkers, Liquid Liquid. The output of the percussive four-piece might be tiny, but the band’s influence on modern punk-funk has been huge. For a taste of Liquid Liquid, check the 1983 video for ‘Cavern’, the bassline of which will be familiar to Grandmaster Flash fans - it was sampled for ‘White Lines (Don't Do It)’, a borrowing which later became subject to a expensive lawsuit (Liquid Liquid lost, a decision which partially led to the demise of the band in 1984). The CD compiles all three of Liquid Liquid’s original 99 Records EP's with ten previously unreleased bonus tracks. All tracks have been digitally remastered, and the artwork is designed by band member Richard McGuire.
