WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION (WWF) March 1993; Magazine
Wrestling/WCW/WWF/WWE Magazine Used (Ex)
Apparently the story which goes with this magazine cover, In 1993, Razor Ramon was hot fire in the WWF, garnering a huge reaction in a short time to become one of the most popular wrestlers in the company. When this magazine cover came out, which was Razor Ramon (Scott Hall)’s first ever magazine cover, he went back to the town where he lived, found the magazine rack, propped every issue of WWF Magazine across the top of the rack, and stood next to it. When people passed by the rack, Hall would get their attention and say, “Hey! …that’s me!”

DEATH FROM ABOVE issue #1 (Melbourne Graff Zine) 2003
Graffiti/Street Art/Art/Underground Magazine; Used (Mint - as new)
Ironically titled, Death From Above hails from Melbourne, and Issue #1 (the only issue ever printed I believe?) is a strong example of the quality of the writers in Melbourne City. Its high quality pages are camouflaged well by its rugged design and appearance. The majority of the photos, which were carefully selected, are trains spanning the years 2001-2003 and reflect the many styles of the city. The train flicks, consisting of E2Es, T2Bs, window downs, inside bombs, etc. would probably even make a NY pioneer long for blockbuster nights gone by. Walls and other surfaces are not as plentiful as the metal, but our friends at DxFxAx did put together a nice b&w centerfold of hand styles, throws and other spontaneous markings. All in all, a solid debut. Fucking RAD!

ROCKET SCIENCE (Thrasher); DVD
Skateboard/Thrasher Magazine/Skate/Documentary DVD, Used
Bottom line: skating is not rocket science... it is harder. This is learning on the streets.
CHLORINE A pool skating documentary (2005); DVD
Skate/Skateboarding/Old School/Pool Skating/Alva/Documentary DVD; New
...for anyone who skates or has skated, or just likes the idea of skating. All the guys in this movie are legendary, ground-breakers who would rather find an abandoned (or not so) backyard pool than a huge commercial ramp or concrete skatepark to ride in. For something that was discovered/invented in the mid-70's, pool skating seems as strong as it's ever been.
Girl / Chocolate - Pretty Sweet (Skateboard) DVD + BLU RAY
Skate/Skateboard/Documentary DVD
Great footage and some amazing skaters. The Marc Johnson part is ridiculous. The guy can do it all barely needs to lift his hands above his waist...SMOOTH! This copy of Pretty Sweet offers both a DVD and Blu-ray copy. The one hour and 10 minute skate video includes ground-breaking parts by the Girl and Chocolate teams and 60 minutes of bonus footage is also included.
STREETS ON FIRE Santa Cruz (1988); DVD
Skate/Santa Cruz/Skateboard/Cult DVD, Used
Jason Jesse is locked up in prison for skateboarding in this sequel to Wheels of Fire. As he wastes away behind bars, dreaming of his imminent excecution, his pals come by to recant their sessions and let him live vicariously through their stories. Aside from the obvious retro-wonder of seeing an old video given new life on DVD, there are the familiar yellow and blue Rector pads everywhere. It's easy to forget how progressive skating was getting. Especially when you see Natas do his fire hydrant spin - amazing! Streets On Fire offers a nice selection of different skate styles and locations. They hit up the Fallbrook Ramp, The Turf Skate Park and Upland Pipeline park and there is some great ditch footage.
