This ultra-limited edition studio album pulls together songs that have been worked up over live tours in Australia, Taiwan, Japan and now studio recorded for Buddhadatta’s debut full length vinyl LP.
If you have seen Buddhadatta on stage you will have become accustomed to their reverence for Buddhism via their attire and the topics of their songs, inspired by practising, throat-singing Buddhist monk / band leader, Vogli Bonze. Bass player Seiko engages almost the entirety of the audience with constant eye contact as she swathes her samurai bass. Drummer Takami, sits up back: cool, calm holding the strong beat that he has perfected from his years in legendary Japanese underground bands.
